Class Description.

Your child will learn lessons about where food comes from & what it takes to go from a seed to a delicious meal.  They will join program creator Laura Greene as she teaches them to garden, cook with what they grow & to share some of their harvest with those less fortunate.  And your child will do this in an interactive, hands-on, FUN way!  Not only will they leave smarter & healthier, but they'll form essential habits to keep them & their planet healthy for a life time.

Some class favorites include:
  • Planting & playing in a corn or sunflower room
  • Growing then cooking Pesto Smiley Face Pizza (a sauce made of leaves!)
  • Mixing up some fresh Garden Salsa right in the garden
  • Composting
  • Planting & harvesting raspberries & strawberries
  • Making goat's cheese
  • Creating topiary creatures & training vines to grow on them
  • Pulling carrots, beets, onions, potatoes & more
  • Painting the picnic table
  • Feeding the donkeys, chickens & goats our leftovers
