Grow. Eat. Share. is not a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Yet I've formed a partnership with School District 112 Community Education, which does have does have a status that allows us to provide receipts for donated goods. If you would like more information about our classification, please contact us or Eastern Carver County Community Education.
I have received nothing but endless support and positivity from the Chaska community and surrounding areas. My community has showered me with gifts to help me make this project possible. Without this support, my program wouldn't exist. How can you help? • Does your business or organization (or just you) want to spend a few hours volunteering to help? We can plan a fun and fulfilling opportunity for you to give back to your community. Example: harvest vegetables, wash them, package them for the food shelf, etc. • Does your business or organization have money or items to donate to make our program possible? We frequently partner with local businesses by sharing information about you with the families in our program, on our website, to the media, etc. • Would you like to sponsor a child in need or at risk for diabetes/obesity? You can cover the fee, or any portion. • Do you have a special gift or talent to share with us? We are open to anyone with something to share, but some ideas include master gardeners, science teachers, nutritionists, yoga instructors, artists, chefs, grant writers, photographers, videographers, web & graphic designers, publicists, etc. • Do you know about grants/money available? While we are not 501(c)3, we are associated with the Eastern Carver County Community Ed program. • Would you or your organization like to volunteer your time? We encourage church groups, Key clubs, school groups, Kwanis clubs, etc. to consider us for service opportunities. • Can you help us in another way? Please Contact Laura Greene today. |
